Alex Rosenblum,
  • LMFT

Mental Health Therapist

Alex was born in North Carolina but raised Northern CA, and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology (with minors in applied psychology and Spanish) from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After undergraduate, Alex went on and pursued her masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) at Chapman University in Orange County, as she wanted to choose a field that emphasized connectedness, community, and family (chosen or of origin). After graduate school, Alex continued her way down the California coast and began working in San Diego. She started her work here in a school-based Behavior Intervention Classroom (BIC), and also began doing outpatient school-based work in San Diego and the surrounding areas. Alex is excited to be working with Mending Matters so she can continue to support youth experiencing difficulties.

In her free time, Alex enjoys reading books, watching baking shows, spending time with friends and family, and running.
