Clinical Supervisor

Born and raised in San Diego, Caitlin feels a deep sense of connection to this city, which inspired her to pursue higher education so that she can give back to the community she was raised in. Throughout her life, Caitlin worked with and served alongside adolescents, which has developed her passion for improving educational and social-emotional outcomes for students. These experiences led Caitlin to San Diego State University to obtain a Master’s in Social Work, focusing on children and families, by emphasizing in school social work. Through her studies, and internship experiences, Caitlin has realized she finds a lot of joy in helping students achieve their potential, find their voices, and feel empowered throughout their education. For those reasons, Caitlin is so excited to join the Mending Matters team which is so dedicated to these values.

When Caitlin isn’t working with students, you will find her continuously exploring new places in San Diego, kayaking, hiking new mountains and trails, and making music with the guitar and piano.
