Mental Health Therapist

Chi Lee came to the U.S. in 2012 as an international student. She started her studying abroad journey at De Anza College in Cupertino, California. After spending 2 years at De Anza College, Chi Lee transferred to UC San Diego to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Upon graduation, Chi Lee started working at Nine West as a Media Coordinator in 2017.

Chi Lee has always wanted to work with children in a holistic setting. In 2018, Chi Lee decided to pursue her Master’s degree in Social Work at Cal States San Marcos. In the two years of grad school, Chi Lee interned and gained experience at Quantum Academy, Orange Glen Elementary and MHS Family Recovery Center. She enjoyed and appreciated the opportunities to work with children, women and their families. She had learned how to engage with clients who come from different backgrounds and advocate for them to meet their needs.

Chi Lee is very excited to be part of the Mending Matters team and cannot wait to meet everyone from El Cajon Valley High School.

For self-care, Chi Lee enjoys cooking and going to the beach to see the sunset with her boyfriend and their dog on the weekend.
