Diana is a San Diego native, raised in National City, CA. After graduating from high school, Diana moved to Los Angeles to pursue an undergraduate degree in Child Development and spent several years teaching preschool before moving back to San Diego to pursue a master’s degree in Social Work. Diana has worked with children and families affected by child abuse and neglect, and is passionate about advocating for families through a trauma informed lens.

Diana has had the privilege of volunteering with youth in her community for over 10 years, and loves spending her free time volunteering, traveling, and spending time with family. Diana is honored to be a part of the Mending Matters team and is excited to combine her passions for working with students while empowering youth to overcome challenges.
