Mental Health Therapist

Jesus was born and raised in Calexico, CA in the Imperial Valley where he enjoyed the perks of being from a small border town. He enjoyed the accessibility of going to Mexicali, Mexico and creating adventures with his family and friends.

Jesus’s ambition to help the most in need, guided him to pursue higher education. He graduated from Imperial Valley College and transitioned to San Diego State University where he obtained a Bachelors in Psychology. While working on his Bachelors, Jesus was working as an outreach counselor that helped high school students apply for College. One day Jesus was at the college center helping a student with his college application and he began to notice that his work was more than helping students apply to college, he was helping them in their emotional journey.

Jesus then graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Masters in Clinical Counseling, making him eligible to work as an Associate Marriage and Family therapist and as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.

Besides being a therapist, Jesus likes to enjoy every chapter of his Journey while being accompanied by his girlfriend, friends, and loved ones. He mostly likes cooking “carne asadas” with his friends, traveling and eating pistachio Ice Cream.
