Molly Schwartz,

Mental Health Therapist

Molly grew up exploring the farms and woods of New England. She moved to the “big city” of Boston for her undergraduate career at Tufts University studying English Literature. She has also lived and worked in New York, France, Argentina, and South Carolina, before finally settling in sunny San Diego and beginning a career in social work.

Molly received her Masters of Social Work with a clinical focus from San Diego State University. In her time at SDSU, Molly held internships working with adults and adolescents experiencing severe mental illness, substance use disorders, homelessness, and a variety of other challenges and life transitions. Molly has worked in educational settings in various roles, and is excited to bring her passion for education and mental health together as part of the Mending Matters team.

When she isn’t at work, Molly is usually in the dance studio pursuing her second career in modern dance. She also enjoys practicing yoga, reading on the deck, hiking with her husband, and running with her dog Miso.
