Mental Health Therapist

Ryanne has lived in various cities across the United States but calls San Diego home as it is where she spent most of her childhood. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. After completing her undergraduate education, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University. During graduate school, Ryanne gained clinical experience working with survivors of trauma and developed a passion for creating safe spaces and providing trauma-informed care.

After 8 years away, Ryanne decided it was time to move back to the west coast. She is excited to be a part of the Mending Matters team and have the opportunity to join students in exploring who they are and empowering them to reach their goals. Ryanne is inspired by the resiliency of youth and has a deep appreciation for this developmental stage of life. Ryanne loves utilizing movement, play, and creativity in therapy. She takes a person-centered and attachment-based approach when working with clients.

In her free time, Ryanne loves going to the beach, hiking, practicing yoga, and being with family and friends.
