Gabriella Resnick,
- AMFT
Mental Health Therapist
Gabriella (aka. Miss Gabby), got her BS in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from California Polytechnic State University (SLO) and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University (San Diego). Her clinical background has largely been within the county system, providing a foundation of trauma-informed and culturally expansive experiences both in clinic and school settings.
Miss Gabby is a passionate person who finds fulfillment in being a space where youth can feel unequivocally safe and supported to express and explore their identities, challenges, and accomplishments. Miss Gabby utilizes a feminist-informed, narrative approach to treatment in which she aims to help youth connect intentionally to their ethics, values, and strengths. By connecting youth to their personal ethics, Miss Gabby wants to help empower a sense of agency and confidence in how students choose to show up when day to day choices, peer conflicts, and sticky situations call. Miss Gabby seeks to meet students where they are at, providing warmth and a deep commitment to helping students find their voice.
Outside of work, Miss Gabby enjoys being in the sunshine and doing anything active outdoors. She is most known on her current school campus for having a snack station in her classroom where students can come grab snacks for nourishment throughout the day!
