Miguel was born and raised in the Sacramento area where he earned his Bachelor’s of Social Work at Sacramento State University before working at a Short-term Residential Therapeutic Program for teens. Miguel has interned and volunteered at a variety of programs, mostly serving youth and young adults from various backgrounds, before interning at Mending Matters while earning his MSW with a concentration in Administration & Community Development at San Diego State University.

He is happy to be rejoining the Mending Matters team. In his free time, Miguel enjoys being outdoors (camping, hiking, archery), reading, and cooking.
