Mental Health Therapist

Born in Fresno, CA and raised between Imperial and San Diego, CA, Arianna has a few places she calls home. Finding community and connecting with others is essential to navigating smooth transitions and having a strong sense of self. Arianna’s interests in supporting others’ healing journeys began at Southwest Community College in 2016 where she pursued an Associate’s Degree in Psychology, where she then transferred to San Diego State University to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2021. This journey led to her furthering her education and completing a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Spanish speaking services at the University of Oregon in 2024 where she took emphasis on helping bridge the gap between Mental Health services and the Latinx community.

Arianna has prior experience working within the ABA community as a Registered Behavioral Technician which opened her eyes to the behavioral health field. She continued her experience working in Community Mental Health and a High School-Based Setting during her training where she worked towards providing culturally sensitive and trauma informed care. She also has experience in an Outpatient behavioral group practice setting where she was able to further further strengthen her role as a Mental Health Therapist. Arianna is delighted to continue working with youth through Mending Matters, and is excited to help students foster connections through positive school culture and empower them to become the best version of themselves.

When Arianna isn’t working, she enjoys reading, exploring outdoors (hiking, nature walks), spending time with family and her 2 dogs, and traveling. She is also working towards becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
