Mental Health Therapist

Ashleigh is a San Diego native, born and raised in San Marcos. After high school, Ashleigh headed up the coast to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at California State University Long Beach. During her undergrad, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany where she interned at a refugee camp and provided resources, recreational activities, and field trip opportunities to refugee youth. Eager to continue promoting the well-being of youth and families in underserved communities, Ashleigh then had the privilege of interning with the YMCA Community Development Program in Long Beach.

After undergrad, Ashleigh continued her studies at CSULB and earned her Masters of Social Work degree with a concentration in Childhood and Family Well-Being. She additionally received her Pupil Personnel Services Credential to work with students and families in the school setting. While in grad school, Ashleigh expanded her knowledge on mental health, substance use, homelessness, and the foster care system through her work at both the OC Health Care Agency-DUI/Drug Courts and the Anaheim Union High School District.

Outside of work Ashleigh enjoys visiting national/state parks, practicing outdoor yoga, reading new books, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
