MSW Intern

Jasmine De La Torre is a current MSW candidate at California State University San Marcos. Prior to her MSW, she obtained her B.A. in Human Development with an emphasis in counseling at CSUSM. Jasmine is extremely passionate about social justice issues; specifically around women’s rights, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, access to mental healthcare and homelessness. She has a large interest in therapeutic services, and is hoping to be a part of the movement toward accessible mental health resources for all people. Jasmine is the oldest of 6 children, and enjoys spending time with her family. In her free time she finds joy in hanging out with friends, buying sneakers, engaging in fitness, and listening to music. Jasmine is extremely excited about being involved with Mending Matters as she is looking to further her understanding of clinical practices, along with learning from supervisors, colleagues and those receiving services, on how to be the best social worker she can be.
