Mental Health Therapist

Suzy grew up in Southern California’s San Diego/Tijuana border region, “La Frontera”. Her vibrant and resilient cultural roots have played a central role in shaping and inspiring her values, identity, and purpose. She is a proud daughter of immigrants who’s courageous determination and lifetime of hard work trailblazed the roads she’s able to walk on today. Suzy earned her Associate’s Degree from Southwestern College, Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University, and Master’s Degree from University of Nevada Las Vegas. Her social work is driven by a deep commitment to social justice, mental health, and progressive change. She strives to implement this through a balance of empowering self-determination and advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves yet. Suzy stands with and for underprivileged communities, such as BIPOC & LGBTQIA+, and aims to contribute to collective spaces where all feel seen and safe.
